The Israelites were then taken over by Romans who destroyed much of what had been built in Jerusalem by the Israelites. The Old Testament Peshitta (there is also the New Testament Peshitta as believers in Jesus translated the Greek New Testament into Aramaic) contains influence from the Jewish literature known as the Targum. The program has been an invaluable resource in my spiritual journey. Even to write it the briefest of briefest it would require 100 pages, so I will save it and write it in another book.
