There are a number of exchanges between the Secretaries of State and Defense titled "MDAP Funds for Support of the Korean Operation." Rapal put up a heroic fight, repulsing the attack of the strong enemy. In the two miles between here (camp) and the bridge the road washed out in 4-6 places. General Ridgway took over MacArthur's job and General James Van Fleet took over Ridgway's old position. Three pictures on the front depict schools being destroyed by Communist invaders, Danish workers distributing books and clothes to boys and girls, and Korean workers using donated United Nations Civil Assistance Command Korea, material to rebuild a high school in Korea.

Moved to the Pacific theater, Jun-Aug 1945, and assigned to Eighth AF. In the latter phase (1937 onward), most of the armored units were transferred to the operations in Nanking (Shanghai). Little of that unit shot down the La-7, while Lieutenant Walt Hayhurst came away with credit for a “damaged probable.” It might be noted that Major Little typified the disparity in training that made the principal difference in evaluating the performance of the FEAF versus the NKAF.
